Bob Allen nous a écrit: " The PentoPipe problem is indeed much more difficult than it appeared at first glance."  et nous sommes d’accord avec lui.

Malheureusement nous n’avons plus rien entendu.
Rakefet Kol (Israël):"I'm afraid that I haven't had time to try solving the latest competition (holidays, work, etc...), and I thought that the dead line was end of April. Did you extend the deadline and I can have a few more days to think it over (e.g., over the coming the weekend...), or is too late for this time?"
Nous lui avons accordé ce délai et avons reçu ce courrier : "Thank you for your patient. I'm afraid that I had a very little time to find the best solution, and I have currently a solution for 19x9, as you can see from the picture below.
If there is still time, I will continue looking for a better solution."

Tom Joly (Etats-Unis):"I'm getting ready to move, so my pentominoes will be packed up for awhile."
Johan Viljoen (Afrique du Sud): "I doubt whether I shall be able to spend the time needed on the problem. At first inspection it seems to be eminently solvable - it should be possible to do an exhaustive search to generate ALL the possible closed circuits, and then finding the best one is a simple matter. Doing that search is more work than I see myself doing in the immediate future, however, this does not mean that I am not very interested, though."
Sasha Ravsky (Russie):"It isn't hard to write a program which lists all circuits and there are not so many variants. I think that all work can be done in one day. Unfortunately I have no time to do this."
Ken Hinds (Etats-Unis):  " I'm afraid you have beaten me with this one. I still have not been able to find a better solution. I got very close to a good one, but the last two pieces were off by one square.
I'll keep trying, but you possibly won't hear from me on this competition. Maybe I can do better next time."
Dario Uri (Italie):"Have  not found the  time to see it yet."
